In the Institute of Botany III, University of Düsseldorf, a postdoctoral position (five years, salary scale E13) is available starting immediately to work on the biochemistry, molecular biology and evolution of anaerobic protists. Current work in the lab includes enzymatic assays, cell fractionation, proteomics, bioinformatics, the transformation of Trichomonas vaginalis, and import of transiently expressed proteins (GFP and hemagglutinin fusions) into hydrogenosomes. |
